I needed repair on my garage I called Better Built and Tony responded the next day providing a detailed estimate. The work was completed within three days time span. Work was excellent and beyond my expectations.
I had a garage sided new and a large access door cut out to allow access to my yard. Garage looks incredible! Job was completed within a week of payment. Great experience.
I decided to share my experience with Better Built after one year since completion to give my full and honest opinion.
We commissioned Better Built (BB) to perform a complete tear-down of our old 1940's era original garage and construct new. The process was lengthy, which I can expect since this is major construction; but, our Sales Rep Larry took care of us and kept us updated with the process from start to finish.
The garage, as it stands right this moment has lived up to our expectations and more! We have not had an issue with any component, the overhead door, opener, electrical system, gutters, soffit and facia, entry-door and hardware, window etc. have all performed flawlessly thus far. I had multiple garage companies come to obtain estimates, BB, while not the absolute cheapest estimate I received, included some features that created more value-per dollar than other company's estimates, some companies I could tell were very much trying to take advantage of me in their offer sheets. We feel that after one full year of using and enjoying our new garage we absolutely made the right choice in trusting BB to perform the work. Better Built Garages did a fantastic job!! The carpenters were highly skilled and arrived on time ready to work. The whole team from demolition to completion were professional top notch people. They worked with me on the final Insurance payment. I am totally satisfied!!
The Better Built technician came out to provide a quote shortly after my initial call. The service was prompt and reasonably priced. The installer did is great job replacing my garage door. I recommend this company. Everyone was a pleasure to work with.
The Better Built Garage personnel performed an extraordinary job on resurfacing my existing garage under very extreme weather conditions. I’m very proud of the finished work and would highly recommend their service.
Back around March or so of this year (2019) I called BBG to put new siding and roofing on my home, as well as make a huge concrete patio (20'x32') and a custom 18'x26' workshop. I was stressed to the max because it was taking forever for this all to get done. I even took it out on them. But, seriously, it was the weather. We had the WORST spring in regards to RAIN than we've had in decades. The rain just seemed to never stop... day after day after day. It delayed the project over and over again.
At any rate, once the rain stopped BBG completed the siding and roofing, and then poured the concrete for the patio and shop. The concrete work was second to none... simply the best. Then the carpentry crew came out the next week and built my custom workshop in two days.
All in all I would say BBG did an incredible job on a pretty big project. I've attached a couple pictures... Yes, our puppy Biscuit thought he was the crew boss during the process!
Our garage was 100 years old, and when we inquired about getting a new one, they were nice enough to give us a really good estimate. They were also very detail oriented about what was going to go in the building of the garage. They were very professional and everything worked out smoothly. Very happy with the results it’s beautiful and I highly recommend to anyone who is interested in getting a garage to go with Better Built!
BBG Built our garage over 20 years ago. Our Garage door finally went south due to wind damage and we called Better Built Immediately. Tony came out and helped to get the door to close as it was stuck, then provided us options to purchase a new door and motor. Their team came out within days and installed everything in just a few hours. Looks great and works excelently! Thanks so much for your support Tony and BBG!
Garage Repair There aren’t many jobs that I don’t do but I tried to fix my own garage door and I just couldn’t do it. Better built garages out of monee were in and out in an hour. I definitely saved their number and will call them again. My garage door wouldn’t open or close and the right bottom roller was bent and the left cable was off. This is why we call the professionals on these jobs. Very satisfied! They were on time and the whole job too about an hour.
The entire process, from start to finish, was a positive experience. The quality of the trades working for Better Built is exceptional. The finish product is great! Our only criticism would be to make the project schedule more visible to the Customers. A proactive call to the homeowner at each planned stage would only serve to increase Customer satisfaction.
After twelve months of shopping five builders, we decided to go with Better Built. The sales rep was at our home twice and had thirty plus years with the company. Our garage is 24'W x 40'D with 10' walls. He assured us we would love it when it was done. We wrote a contract and upgraded the doors and windows. We purchased them and they were installed free of charge. All the sub contractors, concrete, carpentry etc. were very professional, timely and polite. All the materials used were of very good quality due to BB having their own lumber yard. The support we receive from the girls in the front office was the best. Our phone calls and questions were taken and resolved. They also were polite and timely. We are very happy with our new garage and I would definitely recommend Better Built as they were our first choice. EAH
I loved everything about my experience with Better Built. My sales person was Bert Dado. What a great person. He was friendly, personable, and most important to us was that he had longevity with the company. He was very knowledgeable, and thorough in explaining everything down to the smallest detail. He answered all of our questions until we clearly understood all of it. The crews that came out were also very professional and did the work in a timely fashion including the clean up. We had our garage built in the midst of Covid and all the workers came masked even though they were outside. So I highly recommend them if anyone is looking to get a garage built.
Called on Monday had a quality garage door and opener installed on Friday. Salesman was very knowledgeable and the installer was great. Installed in under an hour!!!
We had a new garage built a few years ago with Better Built. They did a great job at the time. Very professional and quality work. Recently we had an issue with the garage door opener. Better Built came out to check it in a timely manner. It was a quick fix and the service provider was so helpful and did a great job. I do not hesitate to recommend Better Built for all your garage needs.
I smacked my garage door real good on Sunday morning. I called Better Build this morning, (Monday 2/10/2020), and they had a courteous, professional come out at 1pm, ( they gave me a window of 1pm to 3pm), and he looked it over, explained what he would need to do, took 30-40 minutes, brought me back out to see what he did and shared some maintenance tips. The garage door looks great and is running perfect. Reasonably priced for quick and professional services. Super customer service on the phone and in person. Great work Better Build! I highly recommend this company!

I just had them build my garage in March 2020. Best decision that I've ever made. I paid for extra's because you only live once. This garage has people stopping to look. The crew was fantastic. The owner Nancy took care of any issues. Believe me when I say, hire them. The job was done in 4 days. I advise you to go big with wall height, roof pitch, rafters, and door height. The extra cost is minimal, and you'll be thrilled with the finished project. Todd in sales was great. He helped me pick the colors, shingles, siding, and windows. Can't wait for summer. I don't typically comment on work, but I can't ignore these people, after they changed my life. They can take pictures and use them in their ads. It's that awesome.
We finally have new garage doors, and we couldn't be more pleased than with this company! Tony gave us a quote, told us exactly when the doors (unusual size on one) would be in. Not only were they in when stated, I was called that very day and installation scheduled. Our installer called when they said he would and clearly knew alot about garage doors. The installation was done within the time frame given, all garbage hauled away. We absolutely love the R-9 rated doors! Would highly recommend Better Built Doors, Monee - they were recommended to us by a friend and I'm glad we gave them our business.

The work done from the old garage teardown to the final touches were done really well. We are very happy with the quality of the materials used and how it was constructed. Everyone that comes by to look is awed at the quality. The best part is we had bids from 3 other garage builders and they couldn't come near the price Bert gave us or the quality of the garage materials. Looking at our garage four years after it was built, it is even more impressive today! The garage blends in very well with our existing home, the siding and roof are excellent matches. Better Built really helped us through the process. The old eye sore was torn down in a day and the new one was up and driveway paved within several days. The craftsmen were all good. Tech was on time and fixed an issue with our overhead garage door. He even spent time tightening up some loose bolts and oiling the moving parts to avoid future issues. We had a great repair experience and would highly recommend Better Built Garages.
Top notch service from the estimate to completed garage. The saleswoman came out gave me the estimate and explained how the process would go as well as the contract. The demolition and concrete guy was great and did a very good job. The construction crew was on time when scheduled , and was very efficient and had the garage built in a,timely manner. The electric crew was also on schedule to complete the garage. All said and done I was VERY pleased with all phases of my project , and I would highly recommend Better Built Garages Garages to all my friends, family and anyone interested in having a garage built. My husband and I are very pleased with our new garage! All the components went into place and now we have a beautifully constructed 2-1/2 car garage! Better Built is a very reliable and efficient company and I would highly recommend them if you are considering having a new garage built! Bert D. was really easy to work with and anytime I had questions or concerns, I was able to get hold of him right away. Tony came out a few times to help us repair our garage door. He was on time and very professional. Even when we needed him to come out again, it was no problem. Great customer service. Will use this business again.
I have to be honest - initially I didn't want to go with one of the big garage builders, but after working with a couple of smaller companies to get bids, I just wasn't confident. So I called BB and Sheena was my sales rep. She was thorough in the pricing and options. When we were done working out the specs, I mentioned I had a previous garage done by Better Built at my former house. She called her boss and gave me 10% off as a repeat customer. Knockdown was done by a BB contractror - I was a little upset that they just showed up one day unannounced, but we worked it all out from there. Concrete guys were fantastic (can't remember their names - but a hardworking, meticulous group - I was impressed). Construction was done in 1.5 days. I watched from start to finish and checked that they were addressing all the details. Last step now is the electric - hopefully that will all go well! Overall a good experience with Better Built.
We are happy with our new garage by Better Built. Bert was the best part of the whole experience. He is such an asset to his company- he incorporates his knowledge and experience while always showing patience and kindness. Sheena was my salesperson when i bought my garage. She was honest about everything from the start and i really liked her. The construction of my garage was held up. Not due to anything better built did, just hold ups from manufacturers due to the covid-19 pandemic. I thought my garage would be built sooner, but my garage doors got held up for 3 weeks. They were very helpful, and just as frustrated as i was with the delay. Regardless of that, my garage was up before the winter, as promised, and it’s beautiful, as promised. I wish these reviewers would give them a break, because they will be very happy with the outcome. We’re all in this together. Thank you better built, i will refer you to everyone i know.
